Dr. Mark
Tredrea Mark graduated from the University
of Queensland in 1997. He worked in a small animal
practice on the Central Coast of NSW before joining
Vetcall in 2001. He became a partner in 2002. Mark
has a special interest in the treatment of cancer
and chemotherapy but enjoys all aspects of small
animal care. Mark is married to another of our
vets, Geraldine, and they have two beautiful daughters,
Beth and Gillian. The final members of the Tredrea
clan are Max and Gabby, their two Staffordshire
Bull Terriers.
Dr. Geraldine
Tredrea Geraldine studied veterinary
science at the University of Queensland and graduated
with honors in 1998. She started work with Vetcall
as a locum and enjoyed it so much she never left.
Geraldine has a special interest in small animal
medicine. Geraldine has worked in all of our clinics
but is now based part-time with Vetcall Q-Supercentre
where she works with her husband, Mark. They have
two daughters, Beth and Gillian and two Staffordshire
bull terriers, Max and Gabby.
Dr Baron Jonsson (all clinics)
Dr Baron Jonsson joined us in February 2007 and is working between Vetcalls 4 clinics.He graduated from QLD University in 1997 and worked in rural NSW for 2 years.He returned from the UK in 2006 having worked extensively in Britain including Scotland and Wales and is keen to settles here on the Gold Coast.
Baron is interested in all aspects of vet medicine and surgery and is particularly keen in patient and client welfare.
Dr Brett Chittick (works at all four clinics)
Brett graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992 and loves working with small animals. Brett lives on his family farm with his wife, 2 children, 5 ferrets, 3 dogs and a pet snake.
Katie Katie has been working within Vetcall Q Supercentre since October 2001. She has completed her certificate 4 in veterinary nursing in 2004. Katie has 2 dogs at home a Bull Arab named Spud and a Great Dane x Bull Mastiff named woody.
Terri Terri has been working at Vetcall Q-Supercentre since June 2003. She is a Certificate II nurse and is currently completing her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Terri has three pets of her own a Chihuahua cross named Tia, Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Bella and Chloe, domestic short hair cat which she adopted through vetcalls cat adoption program.
Kylie
Kylie has been at Vetcall Q Supercentre since December 2006. She is currently studying certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and wishes to complete in the future. Kylie has a domestic short hair named Sid who was surrendered to Vetcall when he was hit by a car. The clan also includes a school of fish in a 6ft tank, a turtle named Henry Webster the Turltelator and an ex race horse who was too slow for the track named Woody, Malibu a bull mastiff x wolfhound x ridgeback – she’s the biggest sook out and her little brother Zeus a Kelpie X who if its catchable he’ll catch it, one lucky dog to get a nurse as his owner.
Jade Jade is the most recent addition to our staff at q-store. She joined the team in February, 2008 and is our junior nurse. Jade is enjoying learning about all aspects of veterinary care and is currently studying her certificate II. Jade owns a miniature fox terrier named Cooper.
