Dr Robert Thomasson
Rob Thomasson has practiced as a veterinarian on
the Gold Coast since 1974. He started the first
Vetcall practice in 1976. Rob’s special interests
are small animal medicine, surgery and practice
management. Presently Rob is the Practice Manager
of all four Vetcall Practices and relies on teamwork
between vets and nurses to run the practices smoothly.
He regulary attends professional developement courses and keeps up to date with the latest veterinary developments.
Rob has been a Rotarian since 1978 and enjoys
relaxing at home with his wife Margot and his family
including his pet "Turbo". |

Dr Rob
Haig
Rob Haig graduated in 1985 and has extensive experience
in such diverse places as Zambia, The UK and several
parts of Australia from Darwin to Canberra. He has
been practicing on the Gold Coast for the past 10
years, previously operating his own practice in
Arundel. He took a year off in 2003 to work with
Aids orphans in Africa and has been Locoming in several
practices on the coast since returning. He has been
Locoming at Vet call since the beginning of 2005. In 2006 Rob became a partner and is now based at Burleigh. He has a special interest
in Surgery but enjoys all aspects of small animal
medicine. Rob and his family (wife, Kim and 3 teenage
sons Adam, Stephen and Ben) are actively involved
with Northgate Church. |

Dr Baron Jonsson (all clinics)
Dr Baron Jonsson joined us in February 2007 and is working between Vetcalls 4 clinics.He graduated from QLD University in 1997 and worked in rural NSW for 2 years.He returned from the UK in 2006 having worked extensively in Britain including Scotland and Wales and is keen to settles here on the Gold Coast.
Baron is interested in all aspects of vet medicine and surgery and is particularly keen in patient and client welfare. |

Sehra
Sehra has been working at Vetcall Burleigh since August 2001. Some of her interests include sports, music, animals. She hopes to continue nursing and in the future work in animal behaviour. Her family of four consists of an Australian Shepherd named Ned, a toy poodle named Will, a tabby cat named Kiara, a cockatiel named Mudd, and her many puppies she loves from puppy preschool. |

Kirra
Kirra is one of our senior surgery nurses who has a strong interest in medical and diagnostic nursing. She also has a keen interest in wildlife rehabilitation and animal behaviour. Kirra is also Vetcall Ashmores puppy preschool teacher and our cat adoption facilitator. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, hiking, surfing and spending time with her partner and entourage of pets.

Megan
Megan has been working at Vetcall Burleigh since January 2010. Her interests include soccer, music and animals. She has a dog named "Buddy" who is a Silky Terrier X. She is really excited to be part of the Vetcall Team to be able to become a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse which she is currently studying for. |
